Buddy!
No worries - mine just went out yesterday in the mail.
30 minutes in line to pay $30 to ship…what is this, ESPN’s 30 for 30?!?!
Hope you enjoyed the holidays!
My day, in a nutshell.
Me: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Coworker: What's wrong?
Me: Have you ever gotten this message? "This is a damage screen. There is no where to go from here."
Coworker: Oh...that sucks. You have to force your computer off now...that's the only way to get rid of that screen.
Me: So saving meant nothing?
Coworker: Nope. You get to start all over from scratch.
Me: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
PS…I saw Mr. Schu at the gym today.
– DJ…he would.
(after paying for the coffee for the person behind me at Starbucks)
Cashier: Do you get rewards points on your card for a lot of purchases or something?
Me: Huh? Oh, no...just a random act of kindness.
Cashier: What's that?
Me: Um...it's where you randomly do something kind for someone.
Cashier: Oh...that's neat.

Ikea has a new solar-powered lamp.
Am I the only one who doesn’t get it?!?!
If the sun is out, you don’t need a lamp.
If you need a lamp, the sun isn’t out.
How on Earth is this even useful?
(fine…I read the description…it “stores the sunlight for use”…a likely story)

…great things happen to great people…and it isn’t always right away.
But when it does happen - oh boy - does it happen!
I have a perma-smile on my face.
[Yes, this is cryptic. Once I get the okay from the person to post personal details about their life I will share with all of you. No, it’s not about me. Yes, my faith in everything has been restored.]
